* We cannot accept responsibility for wear and tear, such as the upper leather tearing at the front of the shoe or splitting at the side of the shoe, resulting from the fit of the shoe being too small.  We understand that Highland dancers like their shoes to be a snug fit but too snug can result in the leather tearing.

* In addition we cannot accept responsibility for shoes which are placed in water to facilitate the stretching process or to be moulded to better fit the dancers foot.

* Due to certain shoes being handmade each shoe can be made from different batches of leather.  This may result in the shoe fitting slightly different, as the leather may not be the same as the previous shoes you have been wearing.
